Members of the public who are interested in using Ace Psychology for legal reports should discuss this with their solicitor before hand and get them to make a referral to our services.
We will consider working as an expert witness on the basis of individual merit. Before such consideration the case must pass the following criteria.
- Must be instructed by the solicitor responsible for the case
- Instructing solicitor is responsible for payment according to our terms
- Full fee is due whether report helps or hinders a case
a) Documentation Required
We require all documentation relevant to the client; this could be their past hospital, GP and psychological records. Any relevant statements; it is important that we receive all such documents in sufficient time so that we can provide the reports for you in the specified time that has been agreed.
b) Time Scale
Once we have confirmation to proceed with the report, we will usually prepare the report within 8-10 weeks. If time is of the essence please let us know and we will endeavour to work within this time limit.
Ace Psychology ensure that all expert witness reports are peer reviewed and supervised by a Senior Chartered Psychologist this not only gives a guarantee of high standard quality reports but also to ensure that they are credible and helpful to the court process.
